Pollard walks the SA TOW

No problem with  Pollard - but Mozart's comments are as per normal BS.   Pollard's problems did not only stem from injuries - atrocious coaching and an acceptable game plan turned an over-weight player around.   Nice to see the result - but there is still scope for improvement and Mitchell will  bring on even more improvement om his performances.   The BS of Meyer and Ludeke nearly destroyed his career.

Pollard as a junior was brilliant and that showed through in the tests against the Scots and the AB's in 2014,   Thereafter under Meyer and Ludeke he was nearly destroyed as a player.   In the EOYT of 2014 he was on average poor and dropped from the Springbok team repeatedly.  In the WC Polard became the listed flyhalf with the ball going to him less frequently than to the stand-in flyhalf Burger,

Playing a BS plan of Meyer and Ludeke the player went off the boil and he became injury prone as well - rarely playing  in 2016 and no games played in 2017.   Fact is he was in poor physical form and had to get out of that as it was even in the newspaper.   Lucky he is getting out of it because of good coaching which he missed out on in 2014 and  2015,

Morne Steyn mentioned - foeitog the poor bugger Mozart still have hallucinations that Morne was in fact a flyhalf and not a kicking dummy destroying backline play.

Bottom line is that Pollard has been a loser for the last two seasons. He has never made the step up to play with the adults in all that time. 

I am sure we are all hoping to see him return to the form he displayed at junior level.

You always distort things.   Pollard played in the 2012, 2-13 and 2014 Under20 WC and was very good.   He then played under Meyer in three tests and was hen dropped from the starting line-up.   Why did your hero  Meyer drop him after the Ireland test in 2014?   Meyer dropped him because he was out of step with the distortion he called a  game plan.

That was followed by Super Rugby in 2015 where Ludeke initially preferred Potgieter to him - but later brought him into the team.   Poor Pollard .had to play with the abortion Ludeke called a game plan and his performances  took a nosedive

Pollard had a number of excellent outing for the Boks and Bulle before being injured. Nobody can dispute this. It was absolutely NOT the case that he w as a great junior and never cut it at senior level - what total twaddle!

And he had to play at "flyhalf"  in the WC while in terms of the BS game plan the real flyhalf was Schalk Burger.    

Mozart - stop talking sh!t - name one instance where I said I prefer Lambie to Pollard at flyhalf.

I also said his record in the EOYT and in the  WC was totally undermined by the Meyer so-called game plan.   I also said repeatedly that one has to see whether he can recover the form he showed previously as a junior after Meyer and Ludeke buggered him up.

Mitchell can be thanked for dealing with Pollard as a real coach and how he has improved the performance not only of Pollard - but also Kriel, Snyman and De Jager.

However, since you said that coaches have no role with regard to player performance improvement it is obvious that  discussion with you on that issue is useless.

 Mozart is the dolt of the century.  He makes wild statements mostly without facts and that makes him earn that role with distinction.

Truly one has now heard it all.

I said many times what the problem was with Pollard and never blamed him for what happened to in the Meyer and Ludeke eras - he had to play in an environment of the non-existing game plan neutralizing back line play.

I also said that he hopefully recover from the farce and he did as proven om Saturday,   So the lies of Mozart should stop.   He was a total rugby fool was obviously not realizing the problem was with  the rubbish Meyer and Ludeke dished up as backline play and how they combined to ruin backline players.
