1) Beast 2) Bismarck(c) 3)M vd Merwe 4)Lood de Jager 5) Lewies 6) Brusouw 7)Alberts 8) Vermeulen 9)du Preez 10) Boshoff 11) Le Roux 12)De Alende* 13)Engelbrecht 14)Habana 15)Mvovo. The reserves would be Matfield,Hougaard,Goosen,,C Oosthuizen,Jannie and J du plessis. *De Alende deserves credit for he surely is putting up his hand. But,if you look at his opposition,it will be Nonu/Fekitoa and Beale/Macabe.All four of those players are miles ahead of DeAlende. Not knocking him,he deserves a shot, but he better make it count.I don't rate Serfontein.Jordaan has been his superior since the first kick off whistle.I also don't think Matfield deserves a chance no matter how good he is.We need to move forward and picking him will be an absolute insult to guys that are younger and really trying. At 36 going on older...you should be playing golf not international rugby.J Duplessis can be tutored how to cover lock or Alberts can as he has for the sharks given injury concerns on match days.

 Arizona
A good team - but allow me some observations please.
*   I think that although van de Merwe showed some promise as a tighthead I think he needs some further development.   The Bulls uses him as a bench player - which probably is wrong and to the detriment of the guy.   However, I think Meyer saw something in him and will keep an eye in him.  Likely future candidate though.
*    I think De Jager is a top class lock - but whther he is recoverd from his injury is another question.   There would be an injury report on Wednesday and that would indicate the situation.
*    I always hace a problem with Alberts - his contribution to loosie requirements remains minimal and his speed is defective.  Would prefer a more versatile loosie that can do breakdown ball protection and recovery as well - something Alberts is incapable of doing.   He is more a third lock than a loosie.
*    I do not think that Engelbrecht really is the answer at 13.  His tackling has improved this year - but although tackles are made it is often enough ineffective.   Brings nothing to attacking play - that perhaps is the reason why Meyer seems to be hunting around for another 13.
