This is my guess based on who went to the USA and who stayed at home.

Erasmus said that he would reduce the squad for the English test to 28 players from the present 43.    There is at this stage 17 players left - with Le Roux, Vermeulen, Faf and Bismarck not available yet.   So of the players gone to the USA at least 11 will be become involved in the English test series

I would say that of those who are going to Washington the  following would be retained for the English tests :-

Kitshoff,  Van der Merwe, Louw, Du Toit, Jantjies, Esterhuizen,  Kriel, Mapimpi, Gelant, Van Zyl and Papier.   

I am therefor not sure how the teams for the English tests would look - but I think it would be somewhat different from what you say above.
