Not sure what to make of these fixtures other that another way for SARU to ring the cash register. Port Elizabeth wasn't really packed for either games. Kudos for the Sables, put a decent shift in and some real speedsters in their backline. Wasn't as dominant as the score made you belief. Still, think the boys under performed.

Worst player must have been Am, the amount ball he kicked away and not using his outside backs were criminal. We couldn't get to see the likes of Miller or Siyaya in space.

Not much to get from the pack and Batho has proven he is just living of a single video short. He is getting fatter by the day with not real dominance or breaks like we saw from Wise in the other game. Think Rassie is trying to black wash the team for the ANC and his job.

The Thsesuka brothers were dissapointing given the hype around them. Maybe it was because Stick coached them. The biggest quota coach with no experience and only there for BEE.

As for the Boks. Norton really stood out and plugged away for and 18 year old. Wiese had some great carries. AE took a long time to get into the game. Kriel slipped off tackles and probably not the same player as before.

Fassi was bog awful. Running into space but can't pass to save his life. Then his cover defence was just horrendous. You could see him over running when sweeping and not trusting the player on the edge, instead he completely allowed the Baa Baa to make an easy switch pass to the inside. Blacks players like Fassi hate to tackles and think the can hide in the backfield by over running when they cover and think they can get away with it.

Right now our only option at 15 is probably Horn.

Kolbe to me has lost a lot of pace and his step. He had a clear intercept from his 10 meter line, with at least 5 meters ahead and got run down by 4 players. He should have been under the post. Only van DER Merwe showed how it is done with some blistering pace

Lets look at th e /players in some positiosn iro of the URC and the matchs on Saturay objectively:-

Full Back - Le Roux - minus 3, Fassie - minus 2 Gillomee plus 1

Wings - Arendse - minus 3, Van der Mewe - plus 3 - Kolbe plus 1

Centers - Am - minu,s 3, Esterhuizen minus 2 - Muller - plus 3

Pollard - Minus 2. Horn - average, Ahmed - plus 2

A horrible case where attacks produced zero, defense was poor and discipline in decline.

Cheslin will be a whole different player with the adrenaline of a proper test match.

I can't belive how terrible a player Fassi had become. He barely made one good decision over 80 minutes yesterday.

His execution is also in the toilet.

And to make matters worse it looks like his injuries have taken some pace from him.

I hope that Erasmu,s wik picj Horn instead of any other copntendor.

Fassi was bad - and Estehuizen - he made sure te backline was static and not an attacking weapon - while playmers ran past him as he was static. Pace gone
