Sharks

Here we can look at the following players:-

*   Mapimpi     -    Plus 2   - try scored

*   Nkosi         -    Plus 2   - try scored

*   Am            -    Plus 1   - 2 try assists -defense a shambles

*   Esterhuizen -   Minus 1 -  made one good run then lost possession - defense a shambles

*   Du Preez     -   Plus 1  -  goal kicking very good.

*   Schreuder   -   Plus 1  -  good service and played a major role in one try,

*   Mtawarira   -   Plus 2  -   good scrumming

*   Oostuizen   -   Plus 2  -   good scrumming

*   Akker         -   Plus 1  -  Two tries scored -  few disciplinary problems

Bulls

*    Kriel          -    Plus 2

*    Pollard      -     Plus 2

*    Papier       -     Plus  1

*    Vermeulen  -   Plus  2

*    De Jager      -  Plus  2

*    Nyakane      -   Minus 1

*    Brits             -   Plus 1

I did not rate Speckman since he was not in any Springbok squad yet

Stormers

*    De Allende      Plus 1

*    Du Toit         -  Plus 1

*    Schixkerling  -  Minus 1

*   Willemse         -  Minus 1

*    Louw              -  Minus 2

*   Kolisi               -  Minus 2

The rest were not worth rating - probably all minus2 or worse.

Lions

*    Duante           -   Plus 1

*    Mapoe           -    Minus 2

*    Jantjies           -   Minus 1

*    Whitely          -   Plus  2

*    Marx              -   Plus  2

*    Smith              -  Plus  2

Did not rate Dayimani, Groom and Schoeman even thouh they may all be rated Plus 2.

I will update this  every week - but think that other members should come up with their own suggestions on the allocations I suggest.

No by the team they reach 20 points - they could become potential selections.   Remember - this  is a long series.

Esterhozen makes the most metres of any Shark and misses one tackle, but gets a minus.....Stephanie makes 11 metres in 11 runs and is monstered by Jenkins on the run, but he is one of two Stormers worth mentioning. The comedy continues.

JD snickering has been exposed as average as a small lock that is an unlikely international standard player

Yep Schockerling, always touted by the Tokster, was very unimpressive.

Actually I kind of like Tokkie's system of rating players by game and adding up the totals. It could act as a decent Bok barometer if a fair consensus can be reached.

It is noticeable that there is a good player in Schickerling but that's not going to come out playing in this Stormers team.
