There is sound reasons why the World team is a better selection than Meyer's geriatric concoction.   It was punted as from January 2014 as a test - now suddenly it is not one.
And for every failed player without any performance record selected by Meyer an excuse has already been concocted.
So the excuse have already been designed.  "This is not a test and my selection was based to determine the value of the geriatrics for the future.  If they fail - no problem - they would have learnt from the loss - so I will just keep them."

Just more proof Rancid Dave called against the Boks..something he has repeatedly denied. As for you Oom you have zero loyalty to the jersey, which is your right, just not something to admire.

I predict a ref will at some stage make a stuff up or at least be perceived to make one .This will be followed by howls of indignation by someone somewhere and calls for death,or more technology or death BY technology !Not I though , no matter what I shall with an almost Gallic ,insouciant shrug arch one eyebrow  and mutter "cest la guerre " and maybe a quiet ' merde "thrown in  [ dont smoke anymore so no Gitanes or Gaulloises for moi ] .That is all ....

Lets re,mind you of our recent test ex[;poit cmpared to lats years efforts:-
  2013                                    2014
Italy       44-10                       Wales          38-26Scotland  30-17                          Wales          31-30Samoa  56-23                         Scotlamd      55-6Argentina  73-13                        Argentina     13-6Argentina   22-17                       Argetina       33-31Australia    38-12                       Auastralia     23-24Wales        24-15
Forget about Italy and Samoa  - we did not play them this year.

The performance slide is there for all to see 0- but for rare exceptions.   In the first Welsh test this year Willie le Roux played the game of his life and the Welsh fell apaprt in the first half when he ran riot.  A h uge solo effort that came off.   Then there was the Scottish test where the youngsterss ran riot - most of the geriatrics did not play.
The decline set in in the Second Welsh tes t and then followed through into the RC tests.
So what went wriong so drastically?
The selection of geriatrics by Meyer who is not up to standard and is played on reputation - nothing more.   The putrid prformances of our Tight 5 as a result in the main of the geriatrics.   The performances of our half back pair in the recnet tests - especially  Steyn and Pienaar.
We are on  slippery slope - whether you want to believe it or not.  We strugge against teams we should beat easily and in two tests our bacon was saved in the last few minutes - we should have lost both - since the opponents played better r ugby than we did.
We could have won the last Aussie test if Morne Steyn did not have a brain implosion.
And you want has beens and never has beens like Morne Steyn, Ruan Pienaar, Bakkies Botha, Victor Matfield and Gurthro Steenkamp in the team - what a joke.

Yeah, should be a cracker of a game!! Boks could win, but they are seriously up against it. AB's by 8
There is nothing between the sides, but I think psychologically, the AB's have a big advantage.

Moffie you need to catch a wake up or better still, invest in a brain........did I predict a Bok loss there?

But here is a prediction for you......we WILL lose against the AB's on Sat because we are a crap side with a crap coach......save this one for the archive.......and once again I'll be posting a "I told you so" proving that you have no clue what you are talking about when it comes to the credentials of players and equally confirms that I know exactly what I am talking about

Yes you did predict a Bok loss: "my money would be on the World side". Now I know you are one dumb plank. But surely even you wouldn't put your money on the team you expected to lose.

S a f  f e x

Are you saying that it's a common policy to put money on a side that you "know" is going to lose.

Come on !!

That's a kindergarten excuse if ever I saw one, and one horrendous cop out

This is what Sapp thinks a lawyer does....twist the language. Unfortunately "my money would be on the World side" is definitive. He predicted a Bok loss.

I don't care what I said about betting.....what I have not done is predicted that the Boks would lose to the World side, just like I did not predict that the Boks would lose to Wales, Scotland and the Argies this year.

What I did do is predict that the Boks would lose to Oz and NZ......get it???????

 2. Fig. to predict the outcome of an event involving someone or something. (This is not a wager.) I put my money on Bob to get elected this time. Alice put her money on the most popular candidate.

You predicted the outcome of an event, which you then confirmed with the statement
"Easy call really."
You can't sleaze your way out of this ......get it?

Here is a future lesson to all of you from our very own resident certified gambler

According to the very intelligent S a f f e x, you always put money on the side or team that you expect to lose, because that is not a prediction of a winner to get your initial bet and more back

That's how you make money

This coming from a lawyer, maybe that's why this profession didn't go too well for him

LMFAO !!

So S affex decides to go the horse races.  He decides to make a bet using one weeks salary on what he believes is the best horse.
Unfortunately the horse loses, and Saffex loses a whole weeks salary.
Next week Saffex goes to the dog races and the same thing happens all over again.
Next week Saffex goes to the local casino and again loses another weeks salary.
The next week Saffex places a bet on a rugby team. He chooses what he feels is the best team and it loses again.
Saffex now has no money, but he never said he was going to win in the first place.
