Pro14 Cheetahs get a makeover

...A new look Cheetahs side are looking to break their Pro14 duck this weekend,playing at home against the Italian club Zebre..
Cheetahs sporting their third flyhalf in as many weeks with Ernst Stapelburg starting at 10 replacing Robbie Petzer Blommetjies has been dropped from the squad all together...maybe rested?

...there are five changes in the pack, with flanks Henco Venter and Paul Schoeman and lock Reniel Hugo the only surviving forwards from last weekend’s run-on side.

At No 8, youngster Junior Pokomela takes over from the injured Niell Jordaan.

 In a direct swap, Justin Basson gets the No 4 jersey and Renier Bernardo drops to the bench. Duncan has also opted to go with an all-new front-row consisting of Tom Botha, Torsten van Jaarsveld and Ox Nche.

New additions among the substitutes are Nico Lee and Chris Dry.

 The backline looks "ok'ish", but the forwards seem like no-name brands-  where are the forwards that played in SuperRugby this season.

 ...Most teams are rotating their players ...the Cheetahs have already played more rugby than most so perhaps they're resting players this week - a much stiffer competition awaiting them next week against Leinster ...
...the position they need to get right fairly smartly is at flyhalf ...a lot of chopping and changing going on there ...how far away is Zeilinga i wonder ?....similarly the Kings losing Cronje has also seriously weakened them in that 10 dept...if only SA could mass produce flyhalves the way NZ does ...
i also see the Nigerian Luther Obi on the wing for the Cheetahs....how competitive would Nigeria be in world rugby if all their best players chose to represent Nigeria instead of other countries?...
