I expect 2018 will be a good year for ProRugby with more quality personnel.

Apparently, Japan domestic will be signing fewer contracts in the run-up to the World Cup hosted by Japan. Can't remember the reason, but it might be to give their own players m ore game time in the run-up to the World Cup.
This will mean lots of players will be available to fill up the Cheetas and Kings- after Super Rugby.
The Cheetas are sitting in a respectable third position- but the Kings are the only team that has no points. https://www.pro14rugby.org/
The Italian teams are deadbeats- and easy points.
I expect both SA teams will have bolstered the teams significantly next year- and win most to all home games.
This tournament could be a great way of preventing players moving to Japan or the UK- as they can get game time living locally, much like in SuperRugby

I hope so Shark. It's a pity the Kings lost so many of their SR players just before the Pro12. I think the team that played in the last couple of SR fixtures would have done much better than the current rabble.  Hope they can rebuild pronto.
