a must win game against the Windies tonite......if they drop a bowler for an extra batsman and with Morris back....oh dear, it's too simple an ask and too obvious a task. Naah forget it......we participate these days.

 A nice opening stand, but de Kock bogs down at a low strike rate on a flat pitch. And then as the first two wickets fall, AB doesn't pad up.....in a must game. They may win this one but somehow we are just not results oriented. Why leave the opportunity for the big Windies hitters when the start was solid.

 A good win on a flat pitch. Amla and Tahir were impressive, glad to see the former back in form after a long dry spell, Rabada goes wicketless again, second in as many games while Parnell hasn't to date matched his domestic form, unbelievably Morne sits on the sideline, De Kock showed no footwork on the ball that dismissed him. Shamsi is work in progress and is fortunate to have Tahir to look to for guidance. Barbados will present a different challenge with more bounce.

Tahir is a competitor....Shamsi is a similar type. Fun having two spinners, neither of whom is a right handed off spinner. The team also feels a bit better balanced with better fielding....the WI were on a roll until Behardien's fabulous catch off a dipping ball.
The concerns have to be ABs form, getting started but not producing a big innings...and the second fast bowler.   De Kock looked better behind the sticks, but still put down a catch.
