Proteas badly need a win

And perhaps they will win.....Faf, Amla and De Kock are batting well below their recent averages. And they are all due. In the Proteas' way is the character who is dominating the series, Joe Root.  First things first, the batting order has to change, also Aiden Mackram has to replace Heino Khun and Amla and De Kock must drop down the order. Bavuma to slot in at first drop.
It might not work but under the circumstances it's worth a shot.

Never seen Aidan...but Bavuma looks the only bet to provide a bit more stability higher up the order.

 It makes no sense investing in a 33 year old making his debut at test level, I'd much prefer the younger lad Aiden even though he'd struggle under English conditions where the ball is expected to swing. I mean what is Khun going to do better than the young lad can't? Amla has to drop a place as well....it's just plain damn commonsense.

You keep using the word 'massif'...here's the definition: . 'A compact group of mountains. ‘the rock massif of Scotland’ . Seems your spelling software can't fix that problem.

Another disappointing batting performance from the Proteas. Bavuma was the most solid again...but this team has now lost all it's mojo. The opponents seem to have figured out de Kock, who played and missed several times before Broad got him. Faf also seems way off his prior form. The model seems to be one of the openers get's a duck....the established bats get a start and then inexplicably go out.
