Province stars return to bolster bulle

Johann Sadie 9Malmesbury ) and Francois Hougaard(Paarl) return from injury and suspension respectively to take their place in the Bulls’ run-on side to face the Reds.

Sadie injured his shoulder in round one of the tournament and hasn’t played since, while Hougaard was punished for a dangerous tackle on Robert Ebersohn three weeks ago.

Sadie starts at outside centre and partners Wynand Olivier in midfield, with Francois Venter dropping out of the squad completely. Hougaard replaces Jano Vermaak at scrumhalf.

In the forwards, CJ Stander starts at openside flank in the absence of Deon Stegmann and Arno Botha comes onto the bench to provide cover for the loose trio.

Strong side without the weak links  stegsies and potty. spesies still hangs on to the captaincy and provided the other 14 players do their bit he will be hailed as a legend much as wee victoria was.

Wonder where the forwards come from!

More importantly than their origin is what the Bulls have done with them. Who was it that was astounded between the Bulls camp's professionalism and intensity compared to the Stormers? That was quite recent.

Training at altitude will always be harder and Sadie was probably just expressing that. Difficult for Sadie to tell the bulle what twits they are after all!. Probably dreading playing in a pink jersey which is his fate once he leaves loftus. Hahahahahhahahahahahahaha

How fit does a coastal side need to be to beat the bulle at altitude as the Stormers did last year. Food for thought eh Card!!

Well week after this we shall see who is fit and who aint when the Mighty Stormers take on the bulle at Newlands.  I liked the way the Stormers came back at the Blues in the last 10 minutes.

AC, Sadie has done nothing at the Bools, in fact he played a whole 10 min. for them. He was made into a player of note at WP, where he already made a mark last year in the S15. Hougaart went through the same programme, but was noticed by the bools before he got time to shoe his talent for WP. Learned his rugga here though.

Well that we are generous to a fault in trying to keep the bulle ship afloat is evident to all but charity begins at home and we must not allow this to continue.

Bulle it would help if you stopped paoching talent and developed your own. Ditto sharks. Would do a heap of good for their self image and respect.
