Great talent with the bat. Awesome replacement for the waning Kallis and Smith.
But either they need to get him a speech / english coach to give him some tips on how to answer a question, or they shouldnt interview him.
I know i sound harsh, but I cringe when he walks up to speak to Haysie..
He doesnt have a clue on how to answer a question.
It may just be a lack of confidence in front of the camera, but they really need to help this kid.
Great young talent though.
The last time we had a talent burst through like this was when AB came on to the scene.

Easier to duck under them when you are short ou Maaaikie. Bradman was also short as was Tendulkar. Shorty batsman can make it in cricket.Yes Chippo but I do think t hese guys get some media type training and hopefully he will improve.

nz players I think are simply told a few key phrases and told not to depart from them. Yey mate I am stoked for the boys. We played some nice footy. If they lose - we have some things to work on next week. They keep it simple for their simple gu ys!!!! - never mind us listening rugby fans ever hoping for an insightful insight as to how they manipulated the ref etc
That about covers it?

Guys you got it all wrong. Quinton sometimes has a problem with bouncers going way over his head when he keeps wicket - no problem when he is batting. The opposite is true - the Bowlers are wided easily because he is a shorty and bouncers are bound to go over his head standing up.

@cleverdike
Mate, JK was even worse than QDK when he started out.
I remember reading an article many years ago...
Kallis was on tour with the U23 squad in Sri Lanka
The squad was doing some training on the beach and the fitness coach said it was good to train at sea level.
JK turned to one of his team mates and whispered "I thought sea level was down by Cape Town"
LOL... so ya, if he can overcome his stupidness, so can QDK.
But i d ont think QDK is stupi d... just very nervous.
Mind you, if he keeps scoring hundreds like that, he can stay nervous for the rest of his career!
