There can be some debnate on these games - as some of them have not been telvised and as per normal the newspapers tend to gavour some players and down playing others. However, from what I have seen I would say that the folowing players really showed sone class:-
The Sharks - Always the best Team
They played only one game thus far and the real improvers have been the following:-
* Francois Steyn - I had some real misgivings abouthim, but he did very well.
* Jordaan - always a dangerous player
* Lambie - really was tops
* Mthembu - shone at no 8
The Stormers
Played two games - but their performances were badlyaffected by an inapt flyhalf. However, the best players to my min that came to attention were the following:-
* Taute - made some errors in the first game, but was exceptional in the second one
* Habana - fter playing the fool in the first gamem was brilliant in the second one
* De Allende - a very strong ball carrier and top defender. Instrumental in two tries of the Stormers
* Kolisi - after a bad first half against Boland - played extremely well in the second half
* Bekker - was very good - but he should wear underpants (LOL)
The Bulls
Did not see yesterdays game against the Cheetahs and am reluctant to use the newspaper report as a basis foe evaluation. From what I saw - the following deserve mention:-
* Visser - a really good full back
* Serfontein - played like a seasoned star
The Cheetahs and the Kings
Bith teams under-performed and the identification of key p0layers to be watched are difficult to define.
