Quarter finals are meant to be close
The fix is in.
The Boks vs Japan will be close.
Well ... that was the most clinical display of rugby I've seen in a very long time.
The All Blacks were incredible and I can't see anyone matching them ... not even England.
Simply superb.
Gooooooooooooooooo Japannnnnnnnnnnnnnn!!!
The Boks should win against Japan, no doubt they will bore the Japanese to sleep. If Japan gets ahead early they have a shot.
One thing is clear and that the Aussies this year was really not up to standard. In the RC game the Springboks sent 15 players to New Zealand before the game and used their dirt trackers and players returning from injury to play their top team and beat them with ease.
In the WC itself they struggled in most games and won by narrower margins than expected, I never really expected them to get past the quarters, but I frankly did not expect them to lose by as wide a margin as they did.
The issue of the Irish loss was really also to be expected. The team may be better in a mud-bath game at home or in the UK at the slow playing fields there, but in games outside of the UK and France they are really questionable.
There is one other issue that must essentially be dealt with here. For the past year now when pointing out that the Springboks did well against the All Blacks - the refrain from the non-thinkers on site was that the AB team is poor and that they will be shown up in the WC. That being said the AB showed how really "weak" they are - they really humiliated the Irish as I expected after the Irish loss against Japan.
I am also beginning to doubt the great refrain by the non-thinkers on site about how the NH teams have improved to an amazing level and that SH rugby weakened in comparison to that, I am sure in the semi the AB's will also wipe the floor with the English.
What happened to the Irish confirms that their showing against Japan how weak they really are. The way the Irish lost against the AB's make it clear that Japan will also lose by a wide margin against the Springboks.
Mike I will be surprised if the wee abs wipe the floor with the English
The Irish team peaked years ago so don't over value the win.
Wee cc the Japs will get munched.
Are you posting from nz yet?
But SH successes = NZ. Not like the rest of you have been setting the world alight.
Ireland peaked a while ago - they were very ropey in the 6N and got demolished by England in the warm-ups. So this is no great surprise.
No one was saying the NH had improved to an amazing level, maybe the flawed rankings system but no one else. Wales and Eng certainly have improved since the last world cup. I look forward to AB's wiping the floor with Eng - you're clearly an expert. I'll be back here if it doesn't happen.
No from Riversdale - you should visit the place and find out what elegant living really means.
,
New zealand are nowhere near Englands level. They were desperate and scrappy and it worked because Ireland lacked any urgency or intensity to their game for full 80. I dunno, they look tired. Looked tired all season. Somethings not right with them, but thats how it goes.
New zealands only hope is the whistle of the ref... again. Like always. We beat those stupid calls by the ref and all those forward passes finally bit those damned aussies in the butt. Really funny seeing those tears at the end... hahahaha!!
Snot!
Fear??? Your dreaming pal! Nothing to fear at all. How retarded... confidence "usually" comes from fear... hahahahaha!
Have England ever beaten Ireland by 32 points in recent years? The last time the two teams played against each other in February 2019 in the 6-Nations the difference was 12 points,
I looked at the England - Aussie game and saw how the English used Aussie mistakes to the maximum. They beat the Aussies by 24 points, In the RC SA sent 15 of their top players to NZ to acclimatize and used players returning from injury and their dirt trackers against the Aussies. They beat them by 23 points, In their last test in August NZ beat the same Aussie team by 36 points, So the lesson is that the Aussie team is relevantly weak this year and to beat them by 24 points is no mighty achievement.
My own prediction is that in the semi the All Blacks will beat England by roundabout 19 points.
England beat Ireland by 42 points in August. They are probably the worst QF team on current form.
The clown cant get his facts right but tells me Im a moron. what a loser!!! Get off your high horse clown! XD
