According to reports, the Southern Queens have signed Toulouse hooker Virgil Lacombe ahead of their debut season in Super Rugby.

 

The 28-year-old, who has fallen behind Gary Botha and Christopher Tolofua in the pecking order, is poised to join the South African side.

Rugbyrama reveal that Lacombe will move on December 31 on a deal that runs until July 2013.

Lacombe began his career with Toulouse in 2004 before playing one season with Brive last term.

Correct - it is leftover time in this case.   We shall see in 2013 whether they are bottom of the log with no points at all.

some of the players in other SA spXv clubs should have used the kings as ano pportunity for gametime. a player like craig burden would have sgotten heaps of spXV matches under his belt playing for the kings which would only enhance his Bok chances. we all know his game time with the sharks all depends on wether bismarck is fit or not.
