The Bulls looked better with Pollard and De Jager had a good game too.   However, the Bulls still have a problem - namely the inability to score tries.
Jantjies today has proved again that he is poor under pressure and the real weak link in the Lions backline.   De Klerk was also questionable and that weakens the backline.   Van Rensburg was above average and Vorster was also good enough - but on the day not the best center combination.
I think Jean-Luc du Preez is a good no 7 - but he needs  a bit more pace.

xavi
None of the scrummies showed anything much - still a weak spot in the SA teams.

Agreed although Faf has that intensity in his favour.

Shawn Venter was hard to gauge in a losing cause.

Reinach has lived on his athleticism, technically he is a woeful scrumhalf.
