What do y'all use as lifting blocks? Do you make your own or buy the Gilbert Lifting Support Brace?

Hi Mac

Here in South Africa, we dont need any lifting assistance.
We work our forearms daily, quite often working both at the same time.

It's a strenuous job, but it assists in lifting.

Back in the day, we were penalized  for lifting...but you make do with what you have...if you are good enough, sponsors will fight each other to give you much more than you ever need.

Bit of hosepipe with a gauze backing wrapped in a elasticated bandage is what I seem to remember. One of our Welsh lads had a tog bag full of em.
