They are the ones making it racist by imposing quotas!
Why do they not choose players based on merit?
It's beyond me...
Politics, pfff.
09 Oct 2016, 12:28#2
If they did there would only be a handful of black players in the side.
They are convinced that they are inferior to the white folk of this country. Why else would they enforce the quota system in sport and in business.

Yeah, but then they say white folk are racist! Hahaha
If we choose players based on performance, there would finally be equality... because only the best get selected (black or white).

Look at Hakwazeeeeeeee's response. He played the race card. Ask yourself why he did that?
Is it because he's a dark man.
Is it because he feels his people need hand outs to get by ?
I don't know. He felt the need to throw it in. Smacks of insecurity.
We do not have the time to dish out favours to those with out stretched cupped hands.
Select on merit or leave it altogether ... and that goes for the coach as well.

Or maybe I am just stirring u CC because u bite even when there is no bait. . Like taking candy from a screaming brat.
What is the definition of Quota? Answer = the same lame excuse Beanhead and CC and Co use time after time after time when their team loses. And we all know who they blame --->YES--->the black players. Does not need rocket science to figure that one out.
Current stats does show the black players in the Team played better than their white counterpart. Infact the white players in the Team were the reason for the Teams loss------>kick after kick after kick after kick away possession. But NO let us all blame Quota and the black players. Morne kicks away possession, let us string up a black player -->Hougard misses a tackle and a try is scored--->look around for another black player to blame. You get the drift.

Hakwa. Race baced sellections are just as wrong now, as it were 30 years ago. It's not an excuse...we won't beat the AB's now, even if Q's weren't forced on us. Fact is, political interference has broken down our game and structures for the last 25 years. There will be no quick fix. The Bok has gone the way of the dodo...and world rugby and by extention the Allblacks are poorer for it. PC BS has the last laugh...again.

So was Kitshoff really better than the Beast? Who do we have who is superior to Habana? I'll give you Mohoje but that's it.
We lost because the ABs have better rugby players right now.....all the other excuses like racism, systems, coaching, reffing, strategies and selecting are small potatoes.

South Africa lost because the structure is screwed. SARU is the main culprit - a fish always rots from the head down. The whole management and coaching staff are armatures. The defence coach (Roux) has never trained at this level, in fact he would not even be good in a high school set-up. Zwandile is a nice fella, so his Instagram profile shows, a real party animal! Sadly his coaching career is very thin - he was the coach of the Kings backline and look what happened to them defensively. Proudfoot has only been at the Stormers together with his buddy Coetzee and there is no real proof of WP / Stormers winning many Super Rugby competitions.
Selecting any person for any reason other than his talent / performance is very, very unfair. It is unfair not just to the other guy who was left out because his "credentials" were not cool, it is grossly unfair to the guy who is selected for another reason than his talent / performance.
Personally, I love the game, that's why I played it and that's why I watch it. It is shear bliss watching the skill, talent and performance of the ABs!
I find it incredibly funny that in 1981 there was hell to play because a team was selected with a whiff of "racism" to tour NZ. All hell broke loose! Why is it that it is now acceptable when it is quite clear that some players and almost all coaching staff are there for reasons other than their ability?
Continuity is important. How long has Smith and Hansen been part of the ABs set-up? South Africa chop and change - there is no continuity. There should never be a need for supporters to talk about a player's colour instead of his performance / talent / ability! Sadly the South African politics is to blame for the current mud-slinging. FWIW there were no players of any colour who excelled yesterday in the SA team - seems not a single one was there for the right reasons....but wait, what about the coaching staff, were their job not to coach these talented players..?
This current government did absolutely nothing to promote the game for 20 years. There are still a myriad of public schools that do not even have a rugby field. Instead of coaching and promoting the game for 20 year, they elected to go the "short-cut" route. Had the aggressively done something we'd not be having this argument - discussion.
Bottom line - politics and sport do not mix! It is like mixing sh!t and ice cream. It does nothing to the sh!t but it totally ruins the ice cream!

Very well said...
MERIT. That's it! No color, no difference.
It's very unfair to some players not being selected, just because of the skin color it was given to them at birth.
I DON'T CARE WHO'S ON THE FIELD, BLACK OR WITE, I DON'T GIVE A ****
Just please pick the best ones.

And Mozart...we don't have "bad players". We have something called a "bad management of the available players".
And a rett arded coaching staff;
All of them.

Kitshoff is far better than the Beast, its not even close
Ulengo, Ismiel, Combrink, Senatla, Sergel Petersen and Skosan are all better than Habana

Nonsense....Kitshoff made no impact in the scrums yesterday and his lack of mobility was painfully obvious.
Racism is an easy excuse. But while I am 100% against quotas it has nothing to do with our issues yesterday. Paige a so called quota choice was way better than Faf yesterday.

Kitshoff against Oz was huge in the scrums, is a far more dominant scrummager that Beast has ever been and no forward made an impact in the mobility stakes yesterday as they were getting their arses kicked.
Kitshoff showed while at the Stormers how good he is in general play so yet again you are wrong......its a strength of his. Kitshoff is arguably the best loosehead in the game right now......regarded as such in France.
What exactly did Paige do that was so impressive.....pass the ball to Morne?
You have a short memory.....Faf was our hero a few weeks ago.....but that's typical of you Moz.....its flavour of the month for you and your need to take a contrary view. Paige is as average as they come, could not even find a starting spot at the Bulls and now all of a sudden he is better than Faf
What exactly would Paige have done against NZ yesterday?

Make his tackles? Everybody is all over Morne only making 7 of 12 tackles....Faf made 5 of 9, even worse.

Paige was playing average Oz, Faf was playing a rampant NZ........where the woeful Boks missed 40 tackles.
Thing is at least Faf has heart and generally makes his tackles unlike powder puff Morne who shies away from contact.....he was pathetic
Which coach in their right mind would bring back a Morne Steyn....its worse or on par with Meyer bringing back Matfield.....but given your history you no doubt found favour in the Morne recall......you do back the losers

A coach that wanted to reverse our losses against the Bargies and Oz.....and he did. Without Morne we would have lost against Oz. The whole team failed against NZ....but the one thing that Morne could control, he did. His goal kicking was spectacular....nobody even mentions that.

Ok, he controlled his boot. Congratulations. 15 points.
But he didn't control his backline. And to win test footy you need to score tries...

Excellent men in SA organized their destruction pattern around racism.
Once the destruction is made, one question is left: how to rebuild?
It is always funny as funny to read excellent men claim no effort must be done, that somehow, stopping the path of destruction is enough.
It is funny because no destruction can be sustained infinitely, it meets its end someday, somehow, when you have lost the capacity to destroy what it is left.
Historically, racism did not rely on quota policy. The quota policy is brought up by excellent men to hide that they cant undo what they did. They destroy. It ends here.
Dashes of quotas here and there are meant to hide the fact they struggle to do anything else.
Asking a SA excellent man a way to undo the consequences brought by racism is a non sense as they have no other answer than their quota policy.
Excellent men often paint themselves as the finest of civilization: in SA, this translates into white excellent men buying their priviledge of losing in rugby by the death of kids suffering from malnutrition.

Now that's an interesting thought...
We can't fight racism with racism, it simply doesn't make sense :/

Excellent men do not fight racism, they've lived off it way too long for that.
They dress it as with that quota thing.
In SA, despite the incredible number of non white players, you have a hard time finding 15 non white professional players.
The training is poor, the resources were squandered by the excellent men.
They cant drop racism because it is an essential key to their welfare. So they dress it.
