I found this coming round as rather difficult to determine the winners and is hesitant about making selections myself:-

*    I am very hesitant about using the Crusaders iro their game against the Sharks,   The Crusaders this year lost only one game and that was against the sub-par Waratahs - a team easily beaten by the Sharks.   I do not like very much to use a team  like the Crusaders as a certainty in such an environment.   However, I think that although not a banker the Crusaders should be in the mix and probably used by a majority of the Rankers participants.

*    Reds should win the gasme against the Sunvolves - but they have been utterly unpredictable this year.   They normally win matches only if the opposition goes to pieces like happened in their game against the Bulls.

*    Hurricanes vs Rebels - even though I think the Hurircanes would win this game - it may in fact end up as an upset loss.   The Hurricanes got a very good backline, but their forwards are soft and not convincing at all.   If the hurircanes backline gets enough good ball theys hould win - but would it happen frequently enough.

*    Highlanders against the Chiefs - two rubbish teams playing each other,   Anything is possible in this game - but bearing in mind the huge margin win by the Highlanders against the Sunwolves away and the Chiefs being embarrassed by the same team at home - the likely winner in this case should be the Highlanders.

*    Brumbies against the Blues - I see the Blues as a promising team and do not rate the Brumbies,   The Blues can colsoidate their position in the Top 8 on the overall log by beating the Brumbies and I believe they will.

*   Bulls vs  Waratahs game - there is always the case that which oif the teams are weaker and not which of the teams are stronger,   Totally unpredictable - but my gut feeling  is that the Bulls will beat the Waratahs if they came onto the field deciding to play rugby.

*    aguares vs Stormers - my feeling is that without Du Toit the Jaguares will won the game.

So here goes my selection for the games in Round 12 - subject to change based on team selection:-

*    The Highlanders beating the Chiefs

*    The Reds beating the Sunvolves

*    The Blues beating the Brumbies.

How do I lead them astray?   I merely stated facts as per normal.   Out of the 17participants in the rather predictable Round 11 there was -

*   only 7 of the active member making selection who got 3 out of 3:

*   8 of the remaining participants got 2 out of 3 correct; and

*   2 participants who only got 1 out of 3 correct

At least I have had all three forecasts correct and felt that the upcoming round is up for unexpected outcomes - and gave my enlightened views on the issue on site to open debate,
