Back 3....Cheetahs, Sharks, Bools, Lions, Stormers

Midfield....Stormers, Sharks, Cheetahs , Lions, Bools

Halfbacks....Lions, Cheetahs, Bools, Sharks, Stormers

Front Row....Sharks, Cheetahs, Lions, Stormers, Bools

Locks......Bools, Stormers ( with Etzebeth), Cheetahs, Sharks (with Stephanie), Lions

Backrow....Stormers (with Schalk), Sharks,  Bools, Cheetahs, Lions

Based on that we have the following ratings:

1 Sharks/Cheetahs at an average rating of 2.5

3 Stormers  at an average rating of 3.0

4 Bools at an average rating of 3.33

5 Lions at an average rating of 3.67

All of which would say the Sharks coaches are living up to their potential, the Stormers and Cheetahs are horribly underperforming. While the Bools, perhaps because of their simple game plan are negating their shortcomings.

You ratings are personal BS.   The ratings are on some respects crap and as far removed from reality - it is laughable.
Outside backs  :   Cheetahs, Stormers, Lions, Sharks, Bulls
The players of the Bulls and Sharks very rarely sees the balls, so they cannot really  be rated on potential.   The Stormers rating is based on Aplon at full back.   Midfield should be Stormers, Cheetahs, Lions, Sharks,  Bulls

The Sharks backline has not functioned to best advantage yet basically the center pairing is not that much better than the Bulls.   The main problem is at inside center in their case.
Halfbacks should be  Cheetahs, Lions, Bulls, Sharks, Stormers
With Lambie and Reinach available the Sharks would move up ahead of the Bulls.   Please remember goal kicking is not the only thing expected from the flyhalf.
Back Row  should be Cheetahs, Lions, Sharks, Bulls and Stormers
The Sharks back row is not balanced and performs limited functions well - but on the whole is not as effective as the Cheetahs and the Lions.   The all round performances of the back row  players of both the Cheetahs and Lions are better than the Sharks.  That is the case in respect of all round defense,  ball carries and protection, breakdown ball recoveries and line outs.
The Lions and Cheetahs have limited squad resources and they lose out when key players are being replaced.  The Stromers are badly coached and managed.   The Sharks has the strongest squad on the whole and that is why they have done well this year.
