It is really interesting to see that there is another coach that has also been banned not that well publicised. 

Ronan O Garra from La Rochelle has had several suspension over the past year, 4 to be exact. He has been fined as well banned for 10 weeks, not allowed to coach for a touchline incident with a French ref. 

Now, we see this a lot in Football, I hate it when both coaches and players can't control themselves and decent down on the ref with a barrage of verbal abuse. 

We saw Bongi chirping the ref and told him to ref both sides. The ref was very lenient with him but he should have been penalised. 

I want to see more players getting penalised for chirping the ref, this needs to end, now!

On the other hand, Rassie is not the only one. Especially when it is as clear as day light that the refs, I mean all 4 refs on the day can miss vital mistakes. 

I know Rassies burner account has been making the rounds TAS, on YouTube but there were some shockers too to look at. Italians not throwing the ball in 5m, very clear, Willie getting shoulder charged to the head for and off the ball, players being clearly offside from a kick chase. It is madness. 

So, on one hand, even though I think Rassie is windgat, the refs seem to enjoy the protection of the ammeter rules. Protective species. 

But I also normally hate it when a ref dictates the game that they take centre stage and all you hear is the refs whistle. 

World rugby need to sort out the rules, create a better open and transparent review system of the refs. After all, players and coaches are under scrutiny. 

They figured it out in tennis, Football has now gotten better with VAR, cricket has gotten way better for it. Even though the dodgy Indians still protest it given that they are serial moaners and intimidators of umpires. Excessive appeals. 

It is so easy to create an AI that can follow the offside line, faster to pick up off the ball incident and penalise teams. 

World Rugby is in serious trouble if they don't modernise  

The reffing of the breakdown is the most contentious issue in rugby.......there's just no consistency.

I don't believe it will ever change.

As for Rassie, he's embarrassing and doing South Africa no good there is a more appropriate avenue to explore that will better his cause.

Considering that the SA rugby white player who headbut the french quota player went to the commission denying his action as warranting a red card, that is another dimension.

SA rugby and theirs supporters are the least well placed rugby in the world to make claims about unfairness, injustice in reffing.

King of corn appears to afraid to say outright that Rassie is right to reveal the extent of incompetence/cheating going on! 

The big trouble these half bakes have is that Rassie is right.  Yes indeed Rugby needs a big clean up. Nz started the ref rot. The Aussies followed suite and not NH refs are going bad as well. 

Its time refs faced the consequences of their incompetence/cheating. For the most part I doubt its incompetence. By the time you become an international ref you know the rules and can ref. its mostly more likely to be cheating.

 If you cant give Rassie credit for a superb RWC win, Team of the year, player of the year, coach of the year effort you likely will never give him credit for anything. But you will and they certainly have made complete twits of themselves in the process.

But doubtless frot vis like dense denise. wee mozzzzzzie and other dubious posters will carry on complaining about Rassie standing up for fair play. My advice is they leave the issue to a man like Rassie. he knows what is happening and has the spine to speak out. 

Beeno, my only question is whether there are any decent refs left that can blow fairly. This nonsense of head contact, ruck, scrum fiasco, off side lines are all things the ref is missing. 

We need technology. 

The ref role should be diminished as traffic controller at most 

Rassie is standing up for himself, making Nienaber’s job that much more difficult and making us look like the worst sports in the game…..while coming 3rd in the RC with the best forward resources on the planet.

Time for him to go back home and spend his time eating.

It could have ended differently had Australia not wasted time with their clearing kick and the ref decide to intervene and have a massive impact on the result. 

Third last year. Second this year when  he was less in evidence, up till the YE tour.

I full support Rassie exposing the sub standard officiating - good on O’Gara for doing the same

Atleast we know that we have the Player Resources to be Nr. 1....but not with this head coach and the pretend headcoach running the show for him.....its not working because 2 place is for Losers, and we come 2 far to often.
