It seems Rassie was watching the game in Scotland over the weekend from the stands as England won. This would be a big deal, more than what Eddie is on, the biggest deal ever!!!

England has already recruited the Boks forwards coach - Proudfoot. England is trying to buy the next world cup by having the current champions coaching staff. Rassie would also know how to play against the Boks- which are a bogey team for England.

If Rassie leaves, suddenly the prospect of having Neinabher as a coach becomes less appealing. Someone with no head coach experience, and no Rassie to share the responsibilities with. Unless Rassie plans to take Neinabher with him as defence coach... Maybe Rassie has a clause in his contract that if he leaves, he is also allowed to take Neinabher...

In other news, Scotland fans threw a beer bottle at Eddie Jones coaching staff. No one received a Glasgow smile.

What was he doing in the stands over the weekend you dummy? A part-time weekend job sub-contracting work for England rugby, while also being the director of rugby for SA during the week?

Good point, hopefully, it was just media speculation due to Rassie being in the stands..

Latest from the Cape Times and Sowetan papers.

PDV noticed in the stands for the England and Proteas game adding to the rumor that he is to take over from Smith at CSA.

No AJH, PDV was spotted at a KFC outside of Newlands and has been linked with the manager role frying chicken.

The Rassie story appears as BS. Seems Rassie has already denied it. Rassie was watching Scotland in preparation for this year's games against the Scots. However not sure what he expects to learn in that game as it was a mud bath.

I would be surprised of that is the only game Erasmus would watch in the 6-Nations.   In any event he also has his agent Jones watching and analyzing the 6-Nations and club games in the NH to not only evaluating SA players - but also potential test players for the countries involved.   Jones has very much the same approach to rugby as Erasmus has, hence his appointment as part of the coaching structure.

Plum

Probably will happen after 2023 when Erasmus contract with SARU expires.   His asking price will be extremely high though.
