very hard to pick a team this week, as there was no clear standout in most positions, and there were plenty of other players just bubbling under mainly with 1, 2, 3, 5, 9, 11, 14.
i try to select players based on what positions they played and not what they can play, so i would never select luatua at lock, even though he can play there, cos he didnt the past weekend.
but ive made an exception this time round for lady elizabeth and retallick who were their teams No4 in the weekend, but due to what was IMO a lack of clear standouts in the No5 jersey acorss all 4 teams, it was more the justified to put in the two best locks on the weekend in the team.
not often that a bench player makes a team of the week, but barrets performance on the weekend was better then all the other flyhalves best staurday efforts combined.
would like to hear others thoughts on this team and their tema of the week too.
