So, after much pondering I've settled on the following:

Australia (32) vs Argentina (24)

The Wallabies tend to score big in an open game at home, and with Los Pumas in a mood to attack this year, I see this trend continuing. The last time Argentina defeated Australia in the Land of the Howling Dingo the year was 1983, back when big hair and shoulder pads were all the rage. Can Los Pumas finally burry the Wallaroos? They look good for a win, but I have to back the stuttering and battle weary troops of General Chair Thrower. Questions marks hang over the selections of Folau and Pocock after their recent injuries. Can Folau manage on the wing? They have an annoying habit of wriggling their way out of defeat just when you think they are at their lowest ebb.

Odds:

Australia: 2/9

Argentina: 16/5

New Zealand (40) vs South Africa (17)

I don't think this requires much thought. It appears to be a mere formality as New Zealand have been tearing through all comers. What kind of damage limitation can the Boks achieve seems to be the question we all ask ourselves. I think the Boks will have periods of dominance, but will fail to put die Schwarzwelle away. New Zealand will pick them off like a naughty scamp plucking the legs off a helpless little bug.

Odds:

New Zealand: 1/25

South Africa: 9/1

He who has the best day at the office will be presented with the weekly Cigar, for demonstrating excellence in the arts of prognostication.

As I quit smoking a while ago that will have to be a symbolic cigar .Oh right it is....

I had a dream where I murdered someone and had a smoke afterwards.Woke up felling guilty about having a smoke.
