Or reduce the players to 12....no fullback, the blindside wing covering the position and just one loose forward, effectively just an 8th man. Probably easier to do given so many famous grounds are land-locked.
But I fundamentally concur there are just too many bodies per square metre for the game to be the open contest that would attract more fans.

Whingeing Yarpies trying to change the laws of the game because they're always losing.
Go ahead and widen your pitches and play your own version of the game but there's no backline talent shortage in New Zealand. Just because you Yarpies have no talented smaller backs like Damian McKenzie, Milner-Skudder or Laumape doesn't mean we have to change the laws of the game, it just means you need to coach your kids better or else start importing from countries that do have talent.

Typical Yarpie mentality.
Fact is, the size of the field is just fine as it is. I have given you examples of skilful NZ players who demonstrate that skill within the current boundaries of the field. You said yourself in the OP that you want more space so that skilful players get more time and space. I'm saying they're not very skilful players if they need more time and space and there are plenty of talented players out there who show their skills on the rugby field in it's current proportions.
Now do you have a counter argument or are you just going to cry and tell me to go away?

So you are saying Mckenzie wouldn't be an even more devastating player and show his skills even more if he had more space....that's certainly a novel view.

@Cloudy, I have corrected the name.
There is a difference between banter and constant negativity. What happens is someone like Kamate is here with his nationalistic supremacist dogma.
His comments always seem to explain everything by nationality. He is so far up his own arse, that he wants people to congratulate him for sitting on the couch and being a fanboy cheerleader.
He ends up causing other people to retaliate with nationalist generalisations and negative stereotypes- and their responses become offensive to New Zealand.
Do you see many people supporting Beeno's nationalist rants about New Zealand?
@K*ntmate- The 7 backline of South Africa has lots of skills. In 15 man rugby, we don't produce many skilful backs that weigh over 100 KG- but the 7's has plenty of skill
