I especially agree with his 5th reason.....going to a game is just too expensive besides who is prepared to pay when the result is a forgone conclusion.

Rugby is a family sport. Dads and sons, moms and daughters, it's a fun afternoon out.

Except when you return home bankrupt.

Tickets plus transport plus food plus drinks X your family size X 8 home Super Rugby matches and it's become impossible for the average man in the street to attend.

Throw in a few dubious decisions and you came away feeling done in.

Unless of course if you're a Kiwi ... then it's a great outing.

I agree ... Super rugby isn't what it once was.

At times I find it more fun playing Dark Souls with my grandson.

I'm still in my 30's but feel like I'm in my 50's on Sunday mornings. Depends on the season and the quality of aftermatch grog to be fair though.

Definitely, Plum.

A big fan of all three ... including Demon Souls where it all began ... and yes, I have Bloodborne in my collection too. I'm busy platinuming (is that a word) Dark Souls 3 as we speak. I have finished all of them several times over. Love the pvp aspect to the series.

They are massive games ... incredibly well put together.

The problem I have with them though is that everything else pales in comparison, so I end up becoming bored with anything new rather quickly.

Have you played any of the Dark Souls in the trilogy?

I highly recommend it if you haven't.

Yeah, I did play DS a bit at launch but I prefer always online games with team combat...The Division(have a class team on there), Destiny and cannot wait for Red Dead Redemption 2 and Anthem to release. 

Anthem is gonna be a game changer.

I kick my sons asses regularly in combat ... and all their friends too.

They come with their heavy armour, great big clubs, monstrous swords and axes while I dance around light as a feather and cut them up with my straight sword.

This Toppie and his pig-sticker is a potent combination. Be very afraid.  

Big, slow, hard hitting weapons count for nothing if you can't touch me.

My grandson is becoming a fine knight himself. I'll have him slaughtering his pa in no time.

No doubt his pa does not approve ... lol!!!
