What happened to the real time updates/commentary on games on the site? We don't even get half time scores anymore. I have to go to other, lesser, rugby sites to get my updates. SArugby.com used to have text commentary etc which was awesome for those of us stuck at work!

Just FYI it is Canes 21 - Chiefs 25. 78th minute

The Chiefs lost the game - what a surprise!!!!!!!   Unless theb Sotrmer lose tomorrow - they would be on top of the log.

The Hurricans ias still in contention for that 6th spot on the log wth 57 points - so they thrown the log positions a bit into disarray.

Insofar as the game itself is concerned a very attractive running rugby game - again marred by silly mistakes.   Maybe the wind played a role in this case - because attempts at goal was a dissaster.

In general there was some instances of really poor defence on both sides and the intercept try by Cruden was the only time that he really made any impact.    Williams also showed some class - but he was not the star people make him out to be.   How come both Kaplan and the line judge missed that head high tackle he was involved in.   For the rest the Chiefs backline was not convinsing.

The real problems for the Chiefs are their forwards - they are just not strong enough in that compponent of the game.   This will make it very hard for them in the semi-final - their next game.

My prediction for the log is now changed - with the Hurricans still contending for the six position.   In view of the latest disaster for the Chiefs - their chnaces of being top of the combined log has virtually vanished sinc the Stormers only have to achieve a win against the Rebels to gain top position on the log - no more 5 pointer required.

The latest scenario is as follows:

1    Stormers

2     Chiefs

3    Brumbies

4    Crusaders

5    Bulls

6    Sharks - withe th Hurricanes still in contention - togther with the Reds

Well I have been warning Sitting Bool, Hakwa and brycy that the chiefies are not a warrior tribe for some time so I cannot say I am too surprised.

Stormers now have everything to play for. Go Mighty Stormers lets end top of the log!!!!!!!!

I think it fairly unlikely that the Rds will get a five pointer against the Warts. It they dont and the Sharks and Bulle simply win thir games they will be in the playoffs.

How nice it would be to have Stormers top the log and Bulle and Sharkies in playoffs!
