Does anyone by any chance have any info on which one of James O'Connor or Kurtley Beale will start the season with the place-kicking duties for the Rebels?

The Rebels side to play the Force on Friday has been announced by the way. The side is:

James O'Connor, Lachlan Mitchell, Mitch Inman, Rory Sidey, Richard Kingi, Kurtley Beale, Nick Phipps, Gareth Delve (capt), Scott Fuglistaller, Scott Higginbotham, Luke Jones, Hugh Pyle, Laurie Weeks, Ged Robinson, Nic Henderson. Res: Shota Horie, Paul Alo-Emile, Cadeyrn Neville, Jarrod Saffy, Nic Stirzaker, Alex Rokobaro, Tom English.

Its Beale in the first half and James in the second rooitwit. But be careful they may swop this around - you know how the Ozzies try to confuse you fantasy rugby types!

How many scrummies do you have in your starting 15. Not more than 2 I hope.

@jalapeno,
i went to the rebels/hurricanes game here in melbs and james beiber (oconner) was doing the kicking when he was on the field and kicking well.
he suffered a shitload of stiches in the game but is playing this week so smart moneys would be on bieber to do the kicking, especially as beale was pretty average last year.

Sasue

I saw a newspaper reprot that Horwell was injured whilst training and tha he will not be playing on Saturday - is that so?   He was one of my key selections in fntrasy rugby and I will have to change him as a matter of urgecy.

@mikey,
yes the reds have ruled out horiwll for saturdays rnd 1 game against the brumbies.

jake white dosent believe that and thinks that coach ewan mackenzie is playing mind games. IMO jake white is the paranoid one, especially considering that phil grham is the coach, not mackenzie whom stood down last year, lolz, :oP

Sasuke, yes, Bieber is one of the best place kickers around and I was suprised when Beale took over the place kicking at one stage last season.

I'm guessing that if it coms down to a choice between O'Connor and Beale for Fantasy Raugby, O'Connor is the better bet. He's going to rack up more running/carrying points from fullback and if as expected he gets given the kicking duties.

@jalapeno,

yeah i rate bibers place kicking very highly too, belaes not bad but last year he had ver averge form.

both are class players though, so it wouldnt hurt to have both of them in ur fantasy team, ive got them both in my testrugby fantasy team, and if chirstain leilafano is not playing in round 1, then i will have them both in my foxsport team as well,,,,,,,,,,,,or will i??? o_O bawahahahahaha, fnatsy midgames have begun, lolz, :oP

but i really rate christain leilafano, he was carving it up last year and untill his injury, he was doing exactly what aaron cruden was doing for the chiefs and goossen for the cheetahs.

BTW, how about htose red devils aye??? just a few more wins and that EPL is coming back to its rightful owners,,,,city, pfffffffffffft.
