why is tom taylor kicking goals, his goal kicking perforamnce for the last two games shows is IMO why slade should be taking the goals.

advantage of having taylor at flyhalf is an established all round tactical kicker can give more qualified options when first receiver is taken out of the equation.

im glad i benched pyle, hes having a shocker.

8mins left 12-6 crusaders lead.

crusaders have also made 12 errors to the rebels 6, which is why nthe crusaders are struggling.

brother saSUE please be real its the chiefies being loaded now not the crusties. Pin your hopes on the chiefs but be realsitic. The Stormers showed they can be taken hence doint build up your hopes too much
I sense the abs are in for a torrid time. Got away with murder last year!

Agree Sasue. How many scoring opportunities did the Chiefs turn down by not taking shots at goal and trying dumb grubber kicks?

halftime, crusaders lead 12-9

@moolaa,
it was a lot of points turned down, not smart rugby which is one of my pet peeves from NZ teams. theres backing urslef, but then theres understanding the situation and realising that keeping the scoreboard ticking is just as key as a possible try, but with a much greater chance of success, :o/

crusaders fundamentals are pathetic, IMO the way therye playing at the moment, they wont beat the reds, waratahs, highlanders, sharks, bulls, brumbies or bulls.

shocking display from the saders, they need carter and McCaw back big time.

crusaders win 25-19.

crusader fans should be happy that despite their team playing like kak in 2014, they have two wins.

then again, the stormers and rebels arent exactly what u would call good teams, and im sure my awesome brother beeno would agree, :o)

Wardad: I did not confirm my changes to my team so Rettalik was on the bench and Read was captain instead of Folau. Lost a few points with that oversight, lol

game wasnt as exciting the chiefs, but i still enjoyed watching it from a rugby point of view.

the loss of players like fruean, marsdhall and the absence of guilford and carter is really hurting the crusaders, as the crusaders just dont have the ability to get over the advantage line in the usual efficient crusader way.

players like guilford and fruean also have that x factor, that special something which made the crusader lethal from all corners.
now they only have dagg, and one x factor plahyer is so much easier to contain then 4.

i would be really worried if i was a crusaders fan, cos i cant see them adding to their super rugby record in 2014.

the crusaders should have really tried to recruit nonu last year when they had a chance, but tabai matsons reaction on the possible recuritment nonu siad it best, a very crusaders shit smells like roses reaction.

i would even say that crusaders impressive finals appearance streak is in serious jeopardy this year.
