Record Round for Super Rugby

...Records tumbled in round 11 of Super Rugby, a weekend which produced the most points ever (562) in an eight game slate.

Fox Sports Lab found that the round smashed the previous record of 483 from week 10 last season, with an average of 70 points scored per game.

It fell just short of the all-time record for all rounds of 565 (week two, 2017), despite having one less match.

Seven of the eight winning sides scored at least 40 points and all five New Zealand sides won in the same round for the second time this season..

No Australian side won for the second time in three weeks and New Zealand sides have won all 17 trans-Tasman contests in 2017 and 23 straight dating back to last season...

It's getting hard to choose which of the Blundering Bulls or the Hapless Stompies is the most embarrassing bunch of losers . . . but I reckon the Stompies must edge it thanks to all the chest-beating we had to endure from the gloating Blowhards who were all bragging and pounding their chests before their useless team of mincing little fops went overseas and became New Zealand's prison brides.
