Reds Lions game

After 20 mins the Reds have 2 unconverted tries to no score to Lions.

Now it's 17-0.

Super rugby is a lottery in some respects...not my favourite much prefer tests between countries and WC's, in fact there are too many injuries, too many games to public demand and filling pockets at the players expense...they are the gladiators and worker bees while the drones and paraasites prey off them...

It is too much of an endurance test not lasting over 3 or 4 or 5 games but 18 games and every player, especially key players are exposed to injury risk at an cost to national rugby.

It's a game for the proletariat fans not the aristocrat ic lovers of rugby

We've had SR since 1996. Not sure how injuries is suddenly a new aspect of Rugby. Its up to the management to manager their players better. Just nature of the beast, not an excuse.

Super rugby should only be 10 franchises but more diversfied, 2 NZ,Austr and SA.

One South America, one North America, one Pacific Islands, one Asia.

Franchises based in cities where the game has more following and supporters.

This would open up rugby universally and be far more exciting.

It also would boost Provincial, Club and University rugby and give a better platform to develope players through stages.

It would be more cost effective, less exhausting, more exciting and at the same time give the exceptional player from countries (that don't have depth in the game) a chance to come to full potential.

Excess players of ability in one country would be marketable to other countries that are too thin in talent as a natural choice and this will start to balance after time...

The winner will the game overall, not a monopolised franchise, less injuries and fatigue and the biggest bonus of all more time for test and international matches.
