First, the reds player make clearly contact with his fingers on Higginbottam's eye, when this last was immobilized on the ground, when there were 2 minutes left and the game was drawn.

And after the match their captain, Horwill, saying:

"In the end we were, once again, robbed by a stupid refereeing decision."

a stupid refereeing decision????? WTF?? that was a well d eserved red card and penalty, no doubt, 0 tolerance with this behaviour

Not sure how conceding 40 points to the Blues, and then 58 points to the Saders, is the refs fault. This whole thing that's becoming a bad part of the culture to hold refs soley responsible for a teams loss really needs altering. Like oh NZ are nationally known as cheats, their is no evidence to suggest corruptness, or any form of fixed pre determined games, this is not cricket lol. Really needs to stop, yes a lot of refs are partial to teams sometimes, maybe when the team has home advantage, but these are professionally trained referees, their are some on this site who are acting like its all a one way street, and its just home kiwi refs well its not. Their have been a ton of SA refs who have performed just as incompetent, but is anyone allowed to shed any light on their refs oh know. It's just when somethings controversy people particularly some bloggers on this site loving sensationalizing the controversy into something that is just not, it's just a matter of human error simple as that. Whether or not you agree with the call or not, its time as fans and as players who have 80 mins to win a game of rugby, not rely soley on the ref's performance, to the point your expect "bent" refs, so you then can blog about it, or facebook your ass off haha at how bent those oaks are, its just part of the territory of the game, its made for cynical people. It's time to start taking some responsibility and not every time a controversial call is made, act like its some injustice, when its just that a call.
