...looked just as I remember him...head high passes, kicks directly into touch, up and unders over kicked into the 22 , very little sense of how the structure a movement, and multiple knock ons. But he is fast I'll give you that.
Reinach today...
Foul-mouth will be here shortly barking away with %%&%^ BS you ignorant F&*% wan%$# etc etc. Funny how the world authority always has a different take to everyone else alongside of the well drilled "To the Rescue" landing here soon after.
And just to top it off he'll also tell us that Reinach is a class act! Bwhahahahahahaha
But good on you for admitting your view changes.
You have yet to look objectively at the player as he performed in the two tests when he came on from the bench. Today you saw two knock ons from Reinach which the referee missed. This is the same kind of BS you came up in the case of the Andrews article.
Your bias is so bad - you overlook anything positve players you dislike do and concentrate on one or two incidents in a series. In the meantime when players you like under-perform - that is according to you fine. That is why a player assessment made by you is worthless and ridiculous.
Me biased... no, not at all. What is bad is Reinach had a poor game. I report it in a factual way, and you attack me personally. This is of course an attempt at censorship, an old South African failing. Brush away the restraints and look at things honestly. That's where we will all arrive in the end.
There is no doubts on anybody's part that Reinach is a great athlete, the fastest in the Bok team over 40 metres according to the commentators. The question is can he craft a game at 9 and execute a strategy. In my view that remains in question. Yesterday was just one data point.
Reinach IS a class act, plays it on the edge.
My guess is the Australian game suited him, we were playing wide open rugby and the Aussies were out on their feet. Against NZ he didn't do much. And then yesterday he had to control a game, set strategy and he started bumbling.
I take Daddy's point that he can learn from F du Preez. Let's see if that's enough. Right now he continues to look half baked.
Let get ot syrtaight - what you said Dave wrote is completelky incorrect. Dave said "he ws not his best, but solid" - which does not equate to poor. Your guess means NOTHING - zero - zilch. Reinach did very well in the AB test as well - so you are talking tripe.
Look - why don't you debate things like an adult - when a statekment is made, why don't you deal with the statement by presenting counter-arguments and factual ones at that. Your opinions on Reinach should be based on fact - not your own fabrication - like the allegations you made about him iro of the Super 15 semi-final - where you were asked to pointedly about what he did wrong and you refused to support your arguments by factual information about what happened during the game. That could then be discussed to find out whether what happened is factual and not one of your fabrications.
Unfortunately that is standard with you - when anybody made allegaions about inefficient player performances in the case of players you like - your response is normally to attack the member or pers on who makes the allegations - not deal with the issue(s) raised.
Your age is clearly getting the better of you. ...you make more and more cock ups these days. Maybe you should think about upping your medication?
Now Moffie be a sport and kindly point out to the board where I said that Reinach was poor you pathetic lying prick?
Sounds about as accurate as me making a prediction against the world 15 and Wales.
Low life liar
As for me having bad days it seems to me you, RooiAAs, simple Arthur and Cheezer are the group who have had bad days recently.
Ou maaaikie Moz was expressing a point of view. He is absolutely correct in saying Reinach has some rough edges. Looking through this thread it is you who start the personal attacks. You so often do and then compalin bitterly if Moz attacks you. Moz made a point that contradicts your views and you go ballistic. THIS IS A FORUM TO DEBATE VIEWS. NO NEED TO GET SO PERSONALALL THE TIME . I DONT BOTHER TO POINT THIS OUT TO SNASPTER AS HE IS TOO FAR GONE! BWAHHAHAHAHAHA
First of all - I did not make a personal attack on Mozart - I dealt with him as to his attitude to player - he remorselessly attacks players he does not like and keep silent about players he likes - unless they have exceptional perofrmances. When they flop - the silence is deadly.
Reinach was not the only player returning from the squad. If Mozart wanted to do an assessment of players returning from the Springbok squad and an objective one at that - one could ghhave noted some objectivity in his case ir at least some objectivity in his case. If one looks at the game on Saturday the Sharks were in the first half surprisingly under pressure from the WP forwards and the quality of balls Reinach got were not all that good. It is hard for any scrummie to play an exceptional or good game under such circumstances. However, he did knock on one ball - Mozart tries to make it it was three balls - which was not acceptable - but for the rest was solid.
Lets do look at players that was released from the Springbok squad and their performances this weekend for their clubs and franchises:-
Habana
He played for Toulon in a losing game against Toulouse. Toulouse won 21-10
Habana1/052/6/74424023/00/000/0
Statistically he had an excellent game - scoring one of Toulon's two tries. Plus for him.
Bakkies Botha
Was statisticaklly an unmittigated disaster for Toulon as is evident from his stats:-
Botha0/000/1/4100105/12/031/0
He was in fact a major reason for the Toulon loss giving away three penalties and collectin a yllow card. The main negative in the loss by Toulon.
Pollard
Started quietly for the Bulls when he came from the ebnch and had to magical moments - one when he scored a try himself and the other when hewas iumental in the scoring of a try by Ndungane. Brillian stuff
De Jager and Mohoje
Showed very little in a side that was overwhelmed by the Lions. I would say Mohoje was less eeffective than De Jager - who was mpore solid in the Tight stuff - while Mohoje was largely "absent" from the game.
Morne Steyn
As to b expected - Morne Steyn was left out from the team of Stade Francais who beat Racing Metro through mostly penalties given away by V an der Merwe - who tried to emulate Bakkies Botha - 2 penalties and a yellow card.
On the list of performances of players from the squad objectively the situatoion was as follows:-
1 Pollard2 Habana3 Reinach4 De Jager5 Mohoje6 Bakkies Botha
So why did Mozart concntrate on Reinach and not look at he others as well?
Leave the bad mouthing to snapster as he can't help himself. Disagree all you wish but getting personal like this so often is not good.
Thanks HasBeen. The creeping censorship of ideas, accomplished through personal attacks, is lowering the standards on the Board.
Somebody, it could be me, makes an observation on the performance of a player....that immediately morphs into a silly personal attack. The attacker is beaten down and leaves dripping with egg. But the original point is lost.
It's reducing the quality of the debate.
Moffie you stupid prick, because you conclude that a player that is not at his best is having a shocker does not mean the rest of us think like your ignorant self.
Reinach had anything but a shocker, he was solid
Wake up you moron

That makes as much sense as putting your money on the team that you are not predicting to win.....
