Respect

That this All Blacks squad is unlikely to fail for a lack of humility.

Three weeks ago, two former All Blacks were invited into the All Blacks team room after the test with Australia in Wellington.

They were greeted by players (who had just won by 20 points), who shook their hands and addressed them by name, but as "Mr", not by their Christian names.

Then, in a moment one of the former players says left him quite emotional, one of the stars of the night, Beauden Barrett, asked if they felt the team had measured up to All Blacks standards.

It's in such unstaged moments you find the truth of a team's attitudes. Respect for the past isn't everything. But when it's allied with so much talent it becomes a potent mixture.

 I like how Ardie Savea showed how much he loves his big Bro after the last game ,shows the ABs as more like an extended family than just a team too.Hakwa how you doing brother ? Were you like me always worried pre game and right up until its impossible for the ABs to lose ?

 Brother Wardad, I would like to see both the Ioane brothers don the ABs Jersey on the end of year tour. Good man management will look for the opportune moment so they don't burn on their 1st outing. Remember Ardie Savea when he went as an observer with the ABs up North?

Brother Beanhead, I praise the LORD everyday whether we are winning or losing. I have been doing that for the last 24years, the years of drought and famine and lack of world cup success.

The RC is not yet over - and while some on this panel (ahem cough you cough) have talked up their own teams I prefer to wait until the last Test is over before putting out a formal statement in honour of our GOD.

 Beandok cant see humility in others hence the lack of any in himself .Too true about the Ioane boys and young Ardie .A ny other team would just toss them in before they have matured but the ABs management have stayed the course and with a few awesome exceptions have introduced new talent with care and skill .The exception of course being young Milner -Skudder ,things can only get better when injured players return eh ?
