Restructuring the Sharks...Lambie @ 15

Plumtree must play Patrick Lambie at 15. Charl Mcleod must be no 9 and Freddie Michalak moved to 10.

Michalak is a typical French half and can play at 9 or 10...just like Morgan Parra or Dimitri Yachvili...in fact Freddie has had outstanding success in the past at 10 with France including 2 successful defeats of the AB's until Lievremont stuffed him around...he is still class...had a bad day against the Stormers but that can happen to anyone but is still young @ 29.

Charl is playing very well and is a great scrumhalf...his service is quick, nifty and accurate.

Patrick Lambie is potentially one of the very best no 15's in the world...another Andre Joubert or Christian Cullen in the making and stuff that legends are made of. He has strong quiet courageous strength of character and has huge leadership ability as a future captain as he matures. Plumtree and Heyneke Meyer must realise that and he must not be misused and shunted from pillar to post as Francois Steyn and Ruan Pienaar were. I just hope sanity and foresight is realised here.

 Agreed and for the benefit of the Boks, Lambie should be playing 15 for the Sharks as we dont need him at 10, given we have class young 10's in Jantjies and Goosen more than ready to take over from the ponderous Morne at 10

Lambie is solid, but not in the mould of Cullen, not even close. More like Aaron Rogers or Chris Latham. Bosman is their best 10, but only 12 option at present. Tough one. No class 13 at all.

 

I would take a Chris Latham type of FB any day. A bit of a "skelm" player but I always liked him.

Cullen was overrated. Latham is the best 15 of the professional era easily.

You are right Chabal, Lambie should be left to develop into a great 15.....and McLeod sparked the Sharks against the Bools last week.

Cullen overrated - man you really know f..... all dont you? I recall asking the question once - why do I bother debating rugby with you - hell you want Bosman at 10 - ouch - but then again you think Morne is the best 10 the Boks has ever had - bwhaaahaaaahaaaaa - you really are a card.

Actually, I recall you backing Pretorius in 2007, Brent Russell in 2003 as well as Koen. You backed Lambie, who failed . You were relentless in your defence of Murray among a plethora of other gaffs. My calls are not flawless, nobodies is, but I maintain a high degree of accuracy. Cullen was not the best all-round 15, thus he is overrated as clowns like you believe him to be invincible. Does that compute? You still haven't answered my question regarding Morne. Are you shying away from a real debate? Is Saffex merely full of huff and puff along with that chest beating?

 Look der - dont start lying - that carries no weight at all. I have never ever backed the useless Koen, he was worse than Morne and that says alot. I backed Pretorius when there was no-one else and I always had Russell as an ideal impact player and never as a starter.

As for Murray, I backed him as a squad Bok, never a starter ahead of Fourie. Murray ahead of the likes of clowns like Adi anyday.

What question is it that you want answered about the utterly useless Morne?

I always thought highly of Latham too, Ceradyne. Solid and dependable, nothing flash ! Even the way he had his socks rolled around his ankles screamed old school player to me ! :)
