The performance of the Stormers yesterday was an eye-opener - showing why they should have got  decent coach after last years fiasco.  It should have been clear why they lost - like in their pre-season clash against of all teams Boland.

There us not much that can be done amongst the forwards - but for a few changes.  If I were their selector I would do the following:-

15   Taute - hope he is fully recovered  from injury)

14   Howard - the same as Taute

13   De Villiers

12   De Allende

11   Aplon

10   Catrakillis

  9   Groom

  8   Vermeulen

  7   Elstadt

  6   Fourie

  5   Rhodes

  4   Carizza

  3   Malherbe

  2   Liebenberg

  1   Kitshoff

Burger is an absolute no-no,  His stats clearly shows why:-

Burger 0/0 0 0/3/0 0 0 0 0 0 4/0 0/0 0 0/0

I have only seen so many zeroes in performance by a loosie once before and that was with Alberts.    His return to competitive rugby was an eye-opener.   He was as useless as Matfield was in both the games he played in thus far.

I would put Scara on the bench after a week of thorough councelling and letting him write out the following a thousand times:-

"I am a forward -  not a backline player - I promise not to try and play at center."
