Former Welsh and British Lions flyhalf and rugby commentator Cliff Morgan has died at the age of 83.
As a player, Morgan won 29 caps for Wales and he was a key member of the 1955 British Lions team which drew the series 2-2 with the Springboks. Morgan scored a try in the first Test which the Lions won and and he then captained the team to victory in the third Test.
As a commentator, Morgan was famous for being the man behind the microphone when Gareth Edwards scored what some still regard as the greatest try in rugby history in the game between the Barbarians and the All Blacks in 1973.
A great rugby man and one of my late father's all-time great rugby heroes! RIP.
