Years ago I went to watch my Waikato play at Counties. We were in the front row close to the sideline on half way. Joeli got the ball in space and motored down the right wing past us at breakneck speed. I swear the thumping of his boots on the turf was like nothing I’d heard before on a rugby field! Almost like he was running on wood!
