I’m looking forward to seeing that centre partnership.

Just read that the Sharks have also signed impressive blindside Vincent Tshituka from the Lions Have edited the potential Sharks side accordingly

It is starting to look like a Sharks team of old. Still need a bit more depth in certain positions, but their must also be some younger players pushing through.

Have to agree the Sharks are making a serious attempt to build a team unlike the WP dumbasses who main business is to export player and get in debt so they have to sell the crown jewels - Newlands etc

Seems Sale are about to lose all, or the bulk of, their South Africans this summer.

I think the sharks are going in the right direction. Especially next season when we can also compete in the European championship.

Right now, each team from each country in the URC qualify. So we will definately have 1 team in, but I would love to see at least 3 of our teams.

Yes, us playing up north will only be meaningful when we play the English and French sides as well The Sharks are building a very competitive side - I can’t say the same for the other 3 sides The Bulls have done plenty of buying but not very wisely

lol imagine Am playing alongside a partner that actually distributes and then follows up. I can imagine him catching those first few passes with wide and surprises eyes.

Yes Jake Whites player acquisitions look as thought he is building a squad like Heineke Meyer. Too much depth in certain positions, and not enough in others.

Ja, have to agree on White and the bulls. Looks like he loaded his pack with Loose forwards, no real quality hookers or locks.

Then he brought in 'hasbeen' back line players like Mapoe,  Vorster, Steyn, Aplon.

Goosen was probably the only real back line player but is now crocked again and not sure how long he will stay at the bulls before he decides to go back to the private sector and shoot his friends in the leg.

White should be looking at bringing back Serfontein and Jessie Kriel to the bulls and maybe even Pollard.

Maybe a few good locks like JD Schickeling and Botha

All of a sudden our URC teams start looking decent and we can give the likes of Leinster a run for their money

Bulls should be looking to acquire the likes of Jason Jenkins and RG Snyman at lock, Dweba at hooker and agreed Serfontein and Kriel at centre Vorster still has plenty to offer at 12 but Jake keeps selecting Hendrikse and Mapoe More than anything the Bulls desperately need a tighthead - Wilco Louw would be perfect

Ja, that would be great if we can get Wilco back in SA,  wonder who the choice 10 would be. But looks like Goosen for now if he can stay fit,  but 9 months is a long time in rugby.

Just how much the French clubs are bitching about SA international  players.

This almost makes me think that club rugby might have a rethink on who they recruit.

Japan seem to be the right model as their season is short, only looking at big names now.

Just watched Damian Mackenzie pretty much single handedly won the game against Pieter Steph Toyota Verblitz, but he is only there for 6 months, then back to the AB.

But it means they get a fit player for the season, makes a massive impact given that they are world class and happy to help bring the quality of the matches up.

I see the Saarks are losing Am for 2 months as well.
