Don't know if you saw my comment yesterday, but I watched the Leics/Bath match and I said that the player you asked after played well.
I said I'd let you know how he got on this Season.
He started because Parling and Deacon were both injured in training.

I gathered he only made the starting XV because of injuries, I know he wasn't expecting to get many starts this season.

Parling is a cert for England duty, Deacon and Slater are in the Saxons, so he will get his chances to play.
He looked fine to me. Played well in a crazy game with some very bizarre reffing. As I said to Saffex, Tom Youngs looked to be Binned for being pushed over by a team mate ! Austin Healey was getting very angry indeed whilst commentating.
I hope he does well. Leics is a fab Club, they work hard but do brilliantly and deserve to. And all this coming from their natural enemy......a Northampton girl :)
