Ross Cronje out of Saturday's test match . . .

Ross Cronje has concussion symptoms and will miss Saturday's 3rd test against France.

 I know about that story,   However, when I wrote about potential scrummies for the Sprigboks and mentioned Cronje as a potential scrummie - leaving out Hougaard, Reinach and De klerk, my good friend Dave and a few others went ballisitic.
However, Cronje did well in both tests and he will be missed this week.   Hougaard was not good enough when he came on - his decisionmaking was constantly poor - and Paige is utterly useless.  Would much prefer Venter or Schreuder as replacement.

Secondly, I call bollocks on this. AC is in a pinch with Mohoje out and Kriel back in. There has to be some balancing of the pigment.
I could be wrong but I think Ross will miss out so they can play Paige. 
Mapoe being dropped just like that for Kriel is also suspect. The man just got back from a concussion.

Oupa Mapoe is not one of the best flanks in SA rugby.
He is not a match against guys like that powerhouse from the Sharks for starters.
He will miss this Test due to an injury otherwise he would have been included to meet the "ANC color skills" requirement.
But there are many more "ANC Springboks" in the making to fill the requirement.

Yes xavi, there does seem to be something a little fishy about Mapoe's sudden axing. Jesse Kriel was basically drafted in because Mapoe was injured. Mapoe comes back and has a pretty good game and suddenly he's dumped because Jesse Kriel is fit again? I'm smelling a rat.
Funny how a few years ago all our test quality players of colour were wingers like Bryan Habana, Breyton Paulse, Ashwin Willemse and JP Pietersen, then suddenly it was front rowers like Beast Mtawarira, Chilliboy Rallepele and Trevor Nyakane and now it seems that flanker has become the new quota position with the likes of Siya Kolisi, Oupa Mohoje, Skuna Notshe, Tera Mtembu and Andile Ntsila all pushing for selection.

 Nice to see you maturing a little rooitwiterbug and realising quotas are an issue. My guidance is bearing fruit!
