Blues vs Highlanders
The Blues was the only team with a schedule to play in South Africa and Argentina. They lost the first Round game against the Crusaders narrowly- then lost badly against the Sharks and narrowly against the Jaguares. They then beat the Sunwolves.

The Hurricanes had an easy win over he Brumbies and two very narrow wins against the Highlanders and Waratahs, but losing badly against the Crusaders. That was followed by a draw against the Chiefs, The team seemingly have some serious problems up front - delivering poor balls to their excellent backline. They may get some referee protection and that could help them.
The Stormers was very bad in their opening match against the Bulls and had since then beaten the Lions and the Sharks narrowly. They had a major and easy win over the Jaguares Their forward combination is one opf the ebst in the whole competition/

Sunwolves vs Lions
The Sunwolves showed some real fighting spirit against the two Australian teams they played against, beat the Chiefs and then lost fairly narrowly against the Blues. They really upped the ante this year - but a bad loss against the Sharks did not help their cause.
The Lions beat the Jaguares twice, but lost against the Bulls and the Sharks before ebating the Re\vels narrowly - after trailing 26 - 3 at halftime.

No discussion needed. If the Chiefs beat the Bulls at Loftus Vereveld it would be the surprise upset of the year
