Results of Round 6 matches should be fairly easy to predict so here goes:-
Crusaders-Bulls Match
If the Bulls win this game it would be the upset of the decade - something like the Japanese beating the Springboks in 2015. The Crusaders after their two latest losses will be desperate tow in this game and being a home game they will go all-out to win this one.
Prediction - Crusaders by 20+ points
Rebels-Sharks Match
The rebels with 7 Wallabies in their team has been going string in their first 3 games in Super Rugby and then lost steam in their latest match against the Waratahs and lost by a wide margin. The Sharks performances were in fact poor and totally unacceptable. There is a minor chance of an upset - but I do not think that would materialize.
Prediction - Rebels by 7+ points
Sunwolves-Chiefs Match
The Chiefs is a classy outfit an even though they had some difficulty and needed referee assistance to beat the Bulls the outcome of this match should be a walk in the Park for them.
Prediction - Chiefs by 27+ points
Hurricanes-Highlanders Match
This is a tricky game with the Hurricanes and the Highlanders both beating the Crusaders in their latest games. I think the forwards are pretty evenly matched and both have some good backline players. The question is who is the most hungry to win. I would say it is the Hurricanes would win by a fairly small margin.
Prediction - Hurricanes by 6+ points
Stormers-Reds Match
The Reds has seen some progress in performance - but they are up who played relatively poor on tour and then came back to SA and beat the Blues easily despite being affected by a flue bug laying nine of their players low for nearly the full last week and having no training during the week. I cannot see how the Reds cam win this match and predict a fairly easy win by the Stormers.
Prediction - Stormers by 13+ points
Jaguares-Lions Match
Over the last two years the Lions lost both their away matches against the Jaguares and another loss is entirely possible. However, the Lions is sending its potentially strongest available team this year and the team must have been hurt and severely embarrassed by the near-disaster in the game Saturday against the Sunwolves, I think the Lions will win this game,
