This is the most useless Springbok in many a year. He will never be capable of being a test tighth ead. He has shown no sign of improvement.
As soon as the left the pitch, the scrums improved. The referee was coaching him how to scrum, before losing patience.
If the Boks had started by a better tighthead, we would have gotten more territorial dominance. 

 So \lets rate the losers in the team yesterday.
1   Top of the useless list is Dreyer.   He was a scrumming disaster.   Coetzee was warned not to pick him - yet the raving idiot did,   He cost the Springboks to miss an excellent scoring opportunity with a scrum 5 meters out when he gave away a penalty in a scrum to be fed by Cronje.    Besides that one he gave away 3 other scrumming penalties.
2    Francois Louw  - he knocked in a ball when kicked in after the first Jantjies penalty, causing Etzeneth to be off-side..   Barrett converted the penalty.   For the rest he was useless in defense and non-existent in attack during the game.
3    Jantjies charge-down kick caused the try of Crotty
4    Leyds timing his run disgustingly and ended up knocking on the ball ending in the Ioane try.   Besides that he was useless in defense and attack.
5    If one adds it all up the four players - plus Serfontein with his poor defense and no other contribution cost the Springboks the game.   
I hope Rassie gets here soon - he will NOT allow Coetzee to make stupid selections he was worned  about by the media and by experts.      

Wilco Louw is much better. He was exceptional today. Like Marx, he looks like the traditional South African forward that has brutal strength. He needs to up his work rate- but what he does do is great.

 If they can increase Wilco's mobility etc he will be fine. Dr eyer unfortunately cant scrum well enough. Coenie looked better this year

 Beenz, our scrum won the day and Wilco was the corner stone. Mobility for a 3 is nice to have, but his first job is to scrum.

Dreyer is a complete failure at test level! I can't believe they would even consider him! He is a points machine....for his opponents! The only explanation is that Coetzee is a bender and Dreyer can suck a golf ball through a hose pipe! Nothing else makes any sense. 

 
Coetzee refuses to accept that he's made a mistake. He is determined to persist with his poor choices ... come hell or high water.

It's not the first time he's done this.

 It's hard to make sense of the selections, there appears to be no rhyme or reason. The selection of Dryer for example is just dumb.....can anyone other than Coetzee justify his selection? 

Dreyer and Rhule....Boks again. Both these guys looked like broken men when they came off in their last tests. Dreyer a guy who was going to have nightmares about yet another scrum. And Rhule a man who in future he would be sticking with ‘fishing’ tackle. .. But back they come as Coetzee waits for another Miracle at Knock.

 Wgat about the other headaches I mentioned above - Louw, Leyds and Jantjies.   All did disastrous things that sank the Springbok efforts.   Louw is just a dim shadow of the player he used to be.    He is just in the declining years as a ugby player and shoul keep to his club for pension purposes - as an international player he is way below par.
Leyds is just too poor to play on test level.   Ge is a good CC player - a dead average Super Rugby player and useless on test level.   He is anytime as poor as Rhule is.
Ant then we have Jantjies - when Dave started to pint huim after the 2011 under 230 WC I was not convinced he will mke the grade.,   He was a disaster in the Ellis park test that year and as bad a disaster playing for the Stormers in 2013,    He played well  for the Lions  since then - but I always said he is not test standard flyhalf.   I just cannot trust him on test level.   .       

Nonsense Tokkie....Louw was our leading tackler against the ABs, even though he missed 4. He had a less than stellar day, but nothing like Rhule in NZ and Dreyer at Newlands. Keep it real.

 What about his knock-on when he received a kick-in  placing Etzebeth offside= here points donated to the AB's.   What about his dismally  poor ball handling knocking on two other balls resulting in AB counter-attacks,.
The Fact that Louw is not the loosie he was three years ago was in a newspaper report and did not originate from me alone.
If any other player - especially those you dislike - miss 4 tackles with a too high missed tackle ratio your will write books about it.   Why not iro Louw?    

  

If we are going to drop loosies that knock on kickoffs look no futher than Roberto (DuRan) DuPreez.....hands of stone. .. As for Louw’s 12 tackles out of 16 at 75%......arguably no worse than Stephanie’s 10 tackles out of 13 at 77%.

If you want to compare a lock playing out of position with a loosie you are welcome to do so.    Why not quote all the stats of the two players - on the day Du Toit was a class act - Louw was a match-loser.
Louw was really sub-par in all the matches he played in since 2016 - he is now down to Willem Alberts level of being a useless loosie and a liability.    

Why not quote the stats for Louw and Stephanie on the day Stephanie was a “class act”? I guess because Louw wasn’t playing that day.....which makes it kinda hard for him to be a match loser.
