For the Bulls is a great call by Jake - like Mostert he is not physical enough for lock so it makes perfect sense to play him at 7
He has been good there - a more skilful version of Mostert playing in his rightful position
Leave locking to big physical brutes and play the less bulky like Nortje, Mostert, BJ Dixon and Ludwig at 7
Playing Dud Toit at flank was a good move by Erasmus….he was a mediocre lock. All these players you mention, like Dud Toit are too tall for 7….Kobus Wiese is a better physical type.
Bullshit PSDT was a great lock, one of our best ever.
Made perfect sense moving him to 7 given we had no obvious candidate at 7 and thereby enabling the team to have Eben, Lood and PSDT on the field at the same time

He was certainly not moved to 7 because he was poor at 5 - that’s pretty obvious. 5 is easier than 7 which tells you everything you need to know of the success he has made of 7
