Ruan Pienaar is not totally useless, but he has to go

Sharkbok just compare the attacking threat of Pienaar and Morne to Aaron Smith and Barrat. The opposiition loosies etc can then drift wider out and concentrate on our centers.Its a disaster playing these two together.
Reinach and Pollard are the future. Personally I would be very tempted to go for broke and play them against NZ. Build for the wc. Play Lood as well. 
Wouldnt mind seeing Allende at 12 and Jean at 13.
Meyer is messing up. Where are our smart grubbers and deft kick aheads with good follow up. We have no backline coach. It's a complete mess. 

 Agree here with Beeno.   There need to be a number of changes.  Morne, Pienaar and Matfield are definites.  I have qualms about the center pairing as well and his suggestion may solve the problems we have in penetration by the centers.  

 Pienaar is too passive has no hard edge. He was poor but Morne was far worse and along with Matfield are the two that need to go now.

Certainly amen that Beeno...cannot understand what goes on in Mr Meyer's head...why continue with players that 1) Don't play up to expectations and 2) Have no progress and developement possibilities into the future.

Is it blindness caused by the fear of change or an insane favouritism on certain players?

Hedging risk by playing the same guys because belief in experienced players will be the safer option and depriving the younger future stars will ultimately lead to more losses in the Championship and will effect progress to the world cup next year.

Extreme caution guarantees a loss before you start...to venture with young talent creates an opportunity to rise up above mundane mediocracy.

Reinach and Pollard at 9 and 10 with Lambie on bench and yes De Allende @ 12. Not sure about Lood though...was very weak @ Salta. Maybe Alberts, I tend to prefer him there as his build is more suitable and does good lineout work and is very powerful and would create more strength and balance with Eben. I know Ol' Mike will have a fit but he plays a better game imo at lock.

Incidentally, does anybody have any news on PSDT's recovery...it's been some time and how much more before he recovers...obviously I'm not referring to the 4 Nations Championship but after that...the sad thing is we were looking forward to the Etzebeth/PSDT combination...but I fear very few players find the old form after long duration of injury.
