Argentina team not announced yet? Searched the internet...still to be announced...is that correct? That's a sign that this is very important to them!

I could not find the team either.  Taking into account the time differences - it is likely the team will be announced sometime later today.

3 CHANGES

Scrum-half Tomás Cubelli starts ahead of Martín Landajo in the only change to the backline.

In the pack, Juan Manuel Leguizamón has been ruled out so Benjamin Macome - a substitute in the 32-25 defeat by the Wallabies - starts in the number 6 jersey while Tomas Lavanini is named in the second row ahead of Matías Alemanno.

On the bench, prop Lucas Noguera Paz takes over from Bruno Postiglioni while Santiago Gonzalez Iglesias offers backline cover instead of Jerónimo De la Fuente and Horacio Agulla is preferred to Lucas González Amorosino.

I only used two transfers this weekend - - but I am unhappy with the Springbok team and wnated to get rid o most of them - I do not think they are going to do well.
I am not an age fanatic -  as long as players perform well enough they can be any age.   However, some players they have in the team are out of form - I think of players like Jean de Villiers, Bakkies Botha, Jannie du Plessis and even Matfield - th elatters line out work is good - but the rest of his game problematic.
They also have weaknesses in certain positions - sucjh as Hougaard at scrummie and Serfontein at 13.  I likie Serontein a lot - but he is not a 13 and his attacking abilities in that position is near to zero.  Pietersen is not much better - he is a serious defense liability.
There are way too many reputation players in teh squad and it bothers me that the team has gone backwards since last year.   If you look at the results of tests played this year - we struggled badly against Argemntina - worse than last year - and to boot lost against Australia - a team we beat with ease last year.
Personally I do not think that the changes made by Meyer in bringing inplayers like Matfield and Botha in braoder perspective produced positive results and the out of form performances of some of the established players are not helpful at all.
Where I do have a problem is that some of the out of form players are way past their prime performane age and to expect them to improve is not realizable.   Much as I admire De Villiers and Jannie - I think at 33 they are over the hill and will nto improve.
The injury issue is not helping ether and I donot think that Mohoje is good enough to make the grade.   I do think that a better option would have been to call up Labuischagne - he is back playing for the Chheetahs and is doing very well.  he is a stronger player than either Mohoje or Whiteley is and still the ebst ball prtector and recover we have in SA as a blindisde flank.
One can only hop for the best - but I am not optimistic about the presen team.   I think we can do better by changing a few players.
