Fijian-born serving soldier Semesa Rokoduguni is set to make his England debut in Saturday's test against New Zealand after being included in a 23-man squad for the game.
Lock George Kruis and winger-fullback Anthony Watson are also in line to make their first international appearances for England, likely off the bench, after being selected by coach Stuart Lancaster.
The starting XV will be named Thursday.
Winger Rokoduguni is an Afghanistan war veteran who lives in military accommodation with his wife and son. He was called up by his adopted country after just two years as a professional with Bath.
Props Joe Marler and David Wilson were included in the 23 after recovering from minor injuries. Owen Farrell is set to start at first five-eighths, but there was no place for flanker James Haskell.
