Understanding this number might help some of the brawn over brains crowd understand why some players are in the team:

Willie….160

Kolbe….145

Am….145

Dud Allende….90

Mapimpi…120

Pollard….150

Faf….155

Ox….120

Bongi …130

Nyakane….110

Etzebeth …140

Mostert…150

Dud Toit….110

Kolisi 100

Kwagga…140

What fans tend to see is execution. But they miss the vision and imagination that puts a player in the right place. Time and again yesterday Kwagga was the only Bok in position to make the play. Yes he was monstered once when he had his back to a tackler and driven back in the tackle. But put another Frankenstein monster in his place and we will be even more vulnerable in space.

I might add the Guinness Book of Records is currently investigating the record low rugby IQ of 51 registered by Lood de Jager.

That’s how he plays….all energy no vision.

A bit high. More around the 80 mark. I've met a South African who boasted about their intellect. Claimed to be a member of MENSA. Turns out his IQ was rather paltry. He reminds me of the Damian's and Steph's of the world. Uncanny passivity.

Difference between PSDT and Mostert is that both have heart and energy but that’s where it ends with Mostert PSDT has plenty of grunt to go with that heart and energy and enough vision to put Kolbe into space to create his WC final try Poor old boy - I feel your pain Trust you to back the loser. PSDT wins world player of the year while Mostert ends his WC on the bench and no doubt will be doing the same this series He can thank his lucky stars RG and Lood were out

A short ball to the right without really drawing anyone. Hardly world class, but I'll admit, it was reaching the ceiling of his ability. Kolbe still had a bit of work to do.

Don't bring Lood into this, absolutely dominated again. Has less strength than Aplon. Always dominanted. Has the worst hands of any lock I have ever seen.

Steph, ended 2019 the 17th best flank in rugby. Facts.

Hahaha the vision to put Kolbe into space. You mean the simple art of drawing a player then passing…..something that was drilled into us in Under 13 days if not before.

That’s the problem with you Dud groupies you see skills in the most simple rugby acts, as long as they are done by the Duds.
