Rooi, my mate Wayne, who was my best man was a lock who used to kick for poles in our side ahead of Hennie le Roux. He was left footed and took his boot off when he kicked.......I kid you not.
He played cricket for Border with Ntini and Boucher and ended up coaching them. He made 100's against the touring West Indies (Walsh and Ambrose) and Pakistan.......he cut Shoaib Akhtar for a 6.
He was one of those that was shit hot at any sport......cricket, rugby, tennis, golf and squad

I played everywhere except 9, 10, 12 and 13. wasn't particularly good though. I prefered flanker and 8 though. Didn't do too bad there.

Nope Moz I never had that kind of pace......I was a 12, who played a good few games at 10......it was all about the step, good lines and if all else failed a good old shoulder in........Ray Mordt was my hero!!

Tighthead ,when I switched from League to Rugger I thought "at last ,I get to play in a different position ! " ,coach took one look at me and said " Ahhh ,my new tighthead prop is here ! " And I was Cap for an Aussie Army team for a couple of games ,as my RSM said 'all you bloody Kiwis know this stupid game so your it ,lose and you wont be seeing any leave for a long ,long time ! " Brycy everybody loves smashing the oppo flyhalf ,especially props ! I used to get an itch to down our own sea-gulling backs along with the oppoastions some times as well but all props get that ....Cloudy nice pic ,is that miss NSW ?

I played inside centre predominantly, but was trialed at 8 in three games. Played 10 once, but started my very first game on the wing.

I switched myself to full back and put Sun-Tzu at pivot. It was a relief to pick up a tighthead Wardad.....although I had Cloudy in mind if all else failed. Dave/BL you will have noticed I have not messed with your partnership, I can't wait to see a centre pair joined at the hip and the shoulder. My main concern is where we put the great OOM!

I started a half back at 5 years old and ended up at full back when I was 35. Played every back position between those two ages. So take your choice Moz, lol
I will play any position required on the team as long as I can turn back the clock and be 20 years old when I join the team, I also would prefer to play in a black jersey.
